Mochirama is a single-player puzzle game published by Codixus. This policy covers the game itself, on iOS and Android, and the page you are reading it on.
The game has no sign-up and no login, and it holds no account for you anywhere. Your progress, your settings and your coin balance are saved on your own device, and that save is never sent to us. If you delete the game, that data goes with it. The gameplay counts described below mention some of those numbers along the way, such as which level you started and how many coins and boosters you had at that moment, but never your save itself.
How the game is going, and nothing about you. Using an analytics tool called Litemetrics, we count things like a session starting, a level starting (with its number, your coin balance and your boosters at that moment), a level ending and how it ended, a booster being used or bought, a decoration bought, an ad being shown or completed, and a purchase finishing (which pack, its price and whether it went through). We count them so we can see which levels are too hard and whether the coins and boosters are fair, because we have no other way to find out.
Each count carries a random number the game invents on your device the first time it runs, your device model, operating system version, app version, language and screen size. Our server also sees the internet address the count arrives from, as any website does, and keeps it.
The random number is not your advertising identifier and not any identifier your phone hands out. It is ours alone, it cannot be matched to another app, and because it is random we have no way to connect it to you, to your account anywhere, or to your store receipts. We do not collect your name, your email, your precise location, anything you type, or which other apps you have.
When something in the game goes wrong unexpectedly, one of these counts names the kind of error and the part of the game's own code it happened in, with no error message, no file path and nothing you entered; there is no separate crash reporting. These counts go to a server Codixus runs, and nowhere else. Nothing leaves your device until you have accepted the terms on first launch, and if you never do, nothing ever leaves.
The game shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and technical information such as device model, operating system version, coarse region and how an ad performed. That data is processed by Google, not by us, under Google's privacy policy.
Where the law requires consent, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for it on first launch through Google's own consent form before any ad loads.
On iOS, after your third level the game asks for App Tracking Transparency permission, before the first ad that could use it appears. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android, you can reset or limit your advertising identifier in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Any purchase is taken entirely by the App Store or Google Play, and we never see or store your card details. The game uses RevenueCat to check the store's receipt, unlock the No Ads entitlement and remember what you own, so RevenueCat receives the purchase, an anonymous id it generates, and basic device information, under RevenueCat's privacy policy. Google, RevenueCat and our own Litemetrics server are the only places the game sends anything to.
Mochirama is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to us and we will act on it.
We hold no name, address or account for you, so there is nothing of that kind to access or correct. The counts above are tied only to the random number, and we cannot tell which one is yours, so we cannot look them up for you or delete them on request. Deleting the game removes the number; installing it again makes a new one, with no link to the old. For data that Google or RevenueCat process, use the controls above or contact them directly. You can always reach us with a question about this policy.
Everything above describes the game once you install it. This website counts its own visits with the same Litemetrics analytics, on a server Codixus runs, kept apart from the game's counts. It records which pages are opened, taps on the steamers in the demo and whether they poured, which links are followed, how far a page is scrolled, and the browser, device type, language, time zone, screen size and approximate country and city a visit comes from, along with any campaign tags in the link you arrived by. Our server also sees the internet address a visit arrives from, as any website does, and keeps it.
This website sets no cookies. To tell a return visit from a new one on the same day, it keeps a visitor number in your browser's local storage, worked out from the date and the browser details above; it changes every day, so visits on different days are not linked, and clearing this site's data removes it. None of it is shared with advertisers, and if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, nothing is recorded.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, tell you in the game.
